🏉 Exciting News for our Under 17’s AFL Male Team! 🏉

The Club is thrilled to announce that Brett Purcell will be taking on the role of Head Coach for our Under 17’s Team this season! 🙌🔥. We are also very excited to announce Brett Arthur, Will Shone & Andrew Ryan as the assistants. Brett is still looking for applicants and EOI’s for a line coach and Team Manager (please PM the club on your interest).

Brett’s history as a coach is rich and extends well beyond some of the below listed roles:
- 2022 & 2023 U15 GC Suns Northern Rivers Development Head Coach
- Assistant Coach Bankstown Basketball State League men’s (Grand finalist)
- 2 Years Coach of U18’s colts Bayswater EFL (Grand finalist & Prelim)
- 2 Years Senior Assistant Coach Bayswater Div 2 (2 x Grand finalists)
- TAC Cup Sandringham Dragons Development

The under 17’s program will be heavily backed and in close alignment to the Senior Mens program headed by ex AFL Senior Assistant Coach and AFL Premiership Player, Dean Solomon. The U17’s will be receiving the full benefits of Dean’s elite preseason training program which kicked off last week and will be continuing at Pottsville Oval from 6pm NSW (all U17’s are invited and expected to attend all 3 sessions per week including the Saturday morning beach sessions).
